The claim brought under Human Rights Act 1998, and includes a claim for the breach of Convention Rights and Equality Act 2010.

·      When TC was 8 years old, he was taken out of class at school by two SO15 Police Officers and a social worker, interrogated about his own religious views and the views of his parents, without parental consent.

·      The Police/Local Authority claim concerns about Islamic extremism and radicalisation and purport to have power to interview in the manner which took place – pursuant to s47 Children Act 1989.
