Asylum support and accommodation

This seminar examines (i) eligibility for asylum support and accommodation under the Immigration and Asylum Act 1999, and support for asylum-seeking victims of trafficking; (ii) challenges to Home Office failure to provide adequate support and accommodation; and (iii) eligibility for homelessness support under Part VII of the Housing Act 1996, which is the housing often allocated to successful asylum seekers, and for which many Ukrainians and some of those under ARAP are eligible.
