In this webinar Allan will cover the Civil Penalties for Employers scheme, with emphasis on how to ensure employers do not become liable to a penalty and if one is issued how to object to it and defend it. Emma will cover civil cash forfeiture under the Proceeds of Crime Act 2002, with emphasis on forfeiture by immigration officers, why they might justify seizure and forfeiture and how to contest forfeiture in the magistrates’ court. This webinar is a must for anyone advising employers and individuals on civil penalties and civil forfeiture or in-house counsel.
